Yes, though you want fast, you get the 2.7L Ecoboost.

Recently tested by Autoweek, a 2.7L Ecoboost in giant Supercrew Lariat 4x4 trim did 0-60 in 5.7 seconds!

Let me repeat, a giant crewcab 4x4 with a small V6 turbo did 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. That’s faster than quite a few modern sporty cars today, and sport/muscle cars just a few years ago.

Depends on the test you care to quote. The 0-60 of a F150 5.0 is in the low to mid 6 second range. Standard Mini Cooper S of 2007 was 6.1 - 7.1 seconds range.

I’ve done a 6.9 (nice) but i didnt do any launch procedures. Car and Driver claimed 6.2 on the Cooper S and 6.3 for the Ferd

Sure, but it’s hard to magazine race times since conditions are not the same, times can vary greatly, but I guess you can come up with averages and come up with something accurate.

Plus your car’s potential was probably even faster than what you tested due to wear and tear.

However, the most common engine in the most common vehicle sold in the US is the F150 2.7L.

0-60 have varied from 5.7 to 6.7 depending on equipment and spec. Surprisingly Autoweek found the 4x4 activated was quicker because it limited slip during launch.

I would think so to, but it’s the 2.7L. Makes 325 hp/ 400 lb-ft torque, can potentially up to 26 mpg (4x2 trim) and equipped to tow 8,000 lbs. Pretty flexible motor.

and the height. forza may not be accurate but it taught me that if you lower the height by about 4 inches then the 0-60 time drops by a second in the Raptor
